Rich of in-depth knowledge of sustainable development, he then moved into the field of Corporate Social Responsibility in 2001, when he joined CSR Europe, the leading European business network on Corporate Social Responsibility.

Pierre acted as Director of CSR Europe’s network of National Partners (national business-driven CSR networks), and played a key role in the development of the CSR agenda particularly in the new EU states. By engaging companies and stakeholders, sharing spearheading practices among companies, he supported business networks in engaging with companies and policy makers on CSR-related issues. He also played a pivotal role in showcasing local best practice at European level, and engaging National Partners in the European Multi-Stakeholder Forum on CSR.

From 2007 to 2009, he worked with the European Foundation for Quality Management, and was responsible for the strategic development and delivery of EFQM’s portfolio of training programmes on Excellence and Quality Management.

In 2009 he founded InnovaTerra, an organisation providing advisory services on sustainable development and CSR to organisations and businesses. He is currently working with organisations such as the NoviaSalcedo Foundation (Spain), Business Support Kent (UK), the International Chamber of Commerce of Grand Lille (FR), Business for Social Compliance Initiative (EU), CSR Europe (EU), CSR Vaderegio (EU), and has also lectured at academic institutions including Université Catholique de Lille (FR), University of Geneva (CH) and United Business Institutes (BE).
